After registering on the platform, a window will appear as shown below.
If you want to upload more files, just use the Browse Files button or use Drag and Drop.
After clicking on the configuration button, a window will appear as shown below.
The window is made up of two sections. The left section includes a 3D viewer while the right section contains configuration parameters. Using a 3D viewer, the user can inspect the CAD file instantly. It will eliminate the need for opening a CAD software for inspecting CAD files.
Configuration parameters consist of Process, Material, Surface Finish, Material Grade, Color, Tolerance, Quantity, Technical Drawings and Special Instructions.
Process includes Vacuum Casting, Sheet Metal, Injection Molding, 3D Printing and CNC machining. If the user finds it difficult to select the process, then they can select the Help Me Choose option. Our team will help you in process selection.
The drop-down box contains the list of materials that we commonly work with. If the user doesn’t find the required material in the list, then the user can select the option of As per Technical Drawing.
If the user finds it difficult to choose the material, then they can select the Help Me Choose Option. Our team will help you in material selection.
Type the required surface finish in the textbox.
Type the required material grade in the textbox.
Type the required color in the textbox.
The default standard used by us is DIN ISO 2768 - mk. If the user wants to specify different standards then the user can select As per Technical Drawing.
Specify the quantity of parts to be manufactured.
Upload the Technical Drawings.
Wherever, the user has selected the option of Help Me Choose, the user can specify what they are expecting from us according to the project requirements. An example is shown below when the ‘Help Me choose’ option was selected for ‘Surface Finish’.
Additionally, the user can add those points which they missed to mention in technical drawings.
After the part configuration is done, click on the Apply and Save button. If the configuration details are the same for all parts, then the user can use the Bulk Configuration option to configure all parts at once. Visit the FAQ section for more details.
